Gases-Expanding Possibilities

      Expanding possibilities:

WALT:write a procedural text in the form of experiment?
This activity is trying to see how increasing pressure affect gases.
                Hypothesis:
When we pour hot water at the end of the bottle it will create  bubbles.
Materials:
  • bottle
  • plastic container
  • glass jug
  • bowl
  • straw
  • blue tack
  • litre jug

Method:
1. Put the  straw in the bottle so the flexible end is sticking out.

2.Fill a cup about ¾ full water.
3.Hold the bottle near the top end while a partner pours hot water over the bottom end of the bottle.
4.Watch the end of the straw in the water.
Conclusion:
We have proved that when there is  increase pressure by warning the air inside the bottle affects gases. It produces bubbles.
