Today I am doing a comprehension and I chose to do swimming.

In the story there are two reasons given why people swim. What are they?

For fun and to win a race.

How do people swim in a race?

Move their arms and kick their legs in the water.

What places do the story tell us people swim in?

Pools,Rivers and Sea.

What do we have to do to swim?

Swim underwater and not breathe.

Why can't we swim under the water for a long time?

Because we will suffocate.

What does the story tell you about swimming alone??

It makes you learn how to swim.

Manaiakalani Film Festival 2014

Today Tamaki Primary School went to the Cinemas at Sylvia Park.

We saw Pt England's movie,Tamaki Primary School and Te Kura Kaupapa.

There were some amazing movies!Some were about the Sea,Nature and Horror's.

Our favorite movie was Pt England how they were watching the news to a horror.

We like them because how they had a really reaction of how they got scared to watch the horror.

What I liked about Pt England was that they had an amazing movie,they really tried hard to learn the actions and their facial expressions.

What I thought they did well was acting like it was a real horror and they turned the horror off and played Mortal Kombat.

The main message is to don't be lazy and watch movies.

How can we get on the King Pig List?

Have you ever been on a King Pig List.Have you ever got chosen from the King Pig List.Well I am going to tell you how to get on the King Pig List.

First thing that can make you get on to the King Pig List is to do the right things like:

Good Behaviour

Representing your class

Completing class work

Being part of a T.E.A.M.

To start off is to have a good behaviour.

When a teacher ask you to do something you have to do it straight away without any moaning.Smile when you have to,Do your best if you are stuck on something and put your hands up on the mat if you want to ask the teacher something.

The next thing you have to do represent your class room by speaking positively outside the playground or inside the playground,respecting visitors and cleaning up the classroom.

Completing your class work can make you get on the King Pig List because you have finished all your hard work and your work is full on finished and making good choices of where you are going to sit.

This is the most important one because being part of a T.E.A.M can help you get on to the King Pig List because when you work as a T.E.A.M the teacher will think that you are working hard to earn your name up on the King Pig List.

This is the T.E.A.M values.

Trustworthy.

Attitude.

How to brush your teeth

How To Brush Your Teeth.

POOOH!Have you been brushing your teeth lately.I think you need someone to give you some healthy tips.If you don’t you are in brushing your teeth bad luck.Well I am Paris Webster and I am going to give you some healthy teeth tips.

First when you wake up from your deep sleep you have to make sure you got your special tools toothbrush and toothpaste.You start by getting your toothpaste and toothbrush out of your bathroom for when you have finished breakfast.Start putting toothpaste on your toothbrush.Brush brush brush till you see you clear teeth.

Brush your teeth till you just see white teeth.Make sure you have brushed your teeth till you have a blood coming out of your mouth.When blood comes out of your mouth then that means you have been brushing your teeth properly. Stay fresh and stay clean.

Lastly turn on the tap,get a little cup,fill it up with water and put it in your mouth pushing the water cheek to cheek and then spit it out into the sink.

Conclusion:

Now that you smell fresh and nice start brushing your teeth everyday so you can have clean and white teeth.
